Dairy Queen Night
Our next Dairy Queen night will be
APRIL 18th from 5:00 -8:00 p.m., 10%
of all sales are donated back to our school.
Minority SB Representative
We have 8% minority status in our
school this year. With that being said, we need to add a
minority parent to
our SB council. Please let me know if

KPREP Testing Dates
KPREP testing for all 3rd, 4th & 5th
graders will be Monday, May 7 th-11 th. Please mark your
calendars for these dates and try not to schedule any
doctor/dentist appointments during this time. More info to
come later in April.
Pick up Reminder
If your child normally rides the bus
home in the afternoons, but something comes up that you need
to come pick them up at the end of the day, please call our
school office by 2:30.
The office gets very hectic from
about 2:30 on.

April is Autism Awareness month. This
is a time for us to promote Autism Awareness, autism
acceptance and to draw attention to the tens of thousands
facing an autism diagnosis each year. In recognition of Autism
Awareness, we will be wearing “Blue” on Wednesday, April 18 th.
Math Literacy Night
We will be hosting a math literacy
night on Thursday, April 19 th from 5:00-7:00. If you are
planning to attend, you need to turn in your form by tomorrow,
April 10 th.

Starry Night—An Art Extravaganza
Harrison County is hosting a night of
“Art Appreciation”. There will be artwork displayed by
students from across the district, talented singers,
musicians, actors/actresses, dancers, etc. from all grade
levels. It is a “free” night of family entertainment at the HC
High School auditorium on Saturday, April 28 th @ 7:00 p.m.
KONA Ice will be here on Friday, May

End of School Year
The end of the school year is quickly
approaching. If we do not miss any more school, the last day
of school is scheduled for Friday, May 25 th. It will be ˝
day. (Students will dismiss at 11:30).
