Southside
Elementary School has a state-recognized STLP (Student
Technology Leadership Program), consisting of twenty 5th graders. Students meet after school to work
on projects, learn troubleshooting tips, and gain a more
in-depth understanding of how technology can positively
affect our lives and how we can use technology to help
others. The STLP students have been busy creating
newsletters to assist teachers in using web resources,
making signs and banners for various activities
throughout the school, taking digital pictures to
document Southside's activities, and creating a disk
library of Power Point presentations for teachers to
check out and use in their classrooms.
