This contains any announcements, homework, and a variety of other cool things!

Our Safety Day will be Friday (October 1), everyone needs a permission trip to attend.

My math test will be on October 14th.

We had a wonderful safety day, the students learned a lot while having a great time!

Reading – We will begin reading “Fudge-a-mania” as a class for the next 10 days.

Math – Begin subtraction.

Mid-Terms go home on 9/12/2010.

Mid-Terms are coming and we seem to off to a good start.

Tomorrow I will be giving my unit test over place value. The students have been writing it in their agenda since September 1st. Remember to study.

So apparently the VOKI has not been recording my messages. Hopefully this will be fixed by this afternoon.

Also, grandparents day will be next Wednesday.

Finally, if anyone wants to volunteer for the fall festival please let me know ASAP. I am sending home a note by the end of the week about our class basket.

Hi Parents,

I just wanted to remind everyone of a couple of things. First, and the priority, we need all student forms submitted as soon as possible. These forms provide us with important information such as medical records, who to contact in an emergency, and where to send the student in case of an early dismissal.

Secondly, picture day is tomorrow (August 24th). If you want pictures, I need the packets returned by tomorrow morning.

Also, after grading last weeks spelling tests, I do not feel that many students chose to study. We noted the spelling homework, which was to study, in their agendas and on my VOKI. Please remind them that they will have a spelling test on each Friday unless told otherwise.
