Homecoming

HCHS Thorobred and Fillies homecoming is next Friday evening, 4 February, 2011.  ROTC will perform the color guard and we also have the concession stand that evening. With exception of some upperclassmen, we will work two hour shifts, if we get enough who want to work.  Those who work will receive a credit.  Shift times will be from 5:30 – 7:30, then from 7:30 – 9:30.  Only the color guard will wear uniforms, concession workers will wear civilian clothes.  This information is to let you know; we will start sign up Monday at school.

Saturday, 5 Feb is the Saturday of Champions for Drug Free Harrison County.  Many of you signed up to work that event, so this is just a reminder that it is next Saturday.

The Military Ball is just about 5 weeks away.  Guys who plan to attend will need a button up white shirt…….

Upcoming ROTC Events

The bowling party is now scheduled for Friday, 28 Jan 2011, weather permitting.  Bus transportation will be provided to the bowling alley at 3:30, but you will need transportation home after the event.  The times are from 4 to 6 PM.

ROTC will work the concession stand for homecoming on 4 Feb.  See your flight commander if you are interested in working.

The Military Ball is right around the corner and is set for 11 Mar at the Cynthiana Country Club.  This event is for ROTC students only.  Girls can wear a prom type dress and guys will wear a uniform.  Guys will need a button-up white shirt.
