lst Social Studies – students complted end of chapter questions for Chapter 3

2nd World Civ – students read about spread of Renaissance to northern Europe.

3rd and 7th Social Studies collab w/Gentry- students started work on a duties and responsibilities as an American citizen worksheet

4th Science collab w/Gegner – students did an experiment with the phases of matter

6th World Civ collab w/Jones – students reviewed Chapter 2 study guide in preparation for test Wednesday.

Terrific Tuesday,

Today the seniors took their on-demand testing for the 1st half of the day. I assisted some of the students with that through 4th period.    During 6th period World Civ the students took power point notes and they will have a quiz Wednesday over Chapter 2 Section 1.

7th period Civics took power point notes and received a study guide in preparation for the upcoming test Thursday over Chapter 3.

Hope everyone does their homework and comes to school tomorrow prepared.

Finally Friday

Today, all social studies classes went to the auditorium to view the video of President Obama's "Back to School" speech. It lasted about 20 minutes and students went back to their classes for discussion or other Constitution activities.

4th Science collab w/Gegner – students took a practice PLAN Test and took their weekly vocabulary quiz over 10 terms.

lst Social Studies – students took notes over the Articles of Confederation and need for a strong central government and worked on vocabulary

2nd World Civ – students completed questions and discussion about "The French Revolution"

3rd and 7th Social Studies collab w/Gentry – students took notes on separation of powers and worked in groups on 4 democratic principles.

4th Science collab w/Gegner – students  completed activities on difference between elements, compounds, and mixtures.

6th World Civ collab w/Jones – students took notes on Catholic Reformation and completed Chapter 1 review packet.
