Students will need an empty cereal or similar sized box, for an activity on May 6th. Students may bring these boxes in at any time. They will need to be wrapped in some type of paper (wrapping paper, construction paper, paper bag, contact paper). Students will be decorating the boxes with information about Africa. They can write their name on the bottom of the box when they bring it in.

Dress Code Reminder: shorts and skirts must pass the flamingo test. When standing on one leg with the other leg bent at the knee and parallel to the ground, the shorts or skirt should touch the calf.

As part of his campaign for office with the Kentucky United Nations Assembly, one of our 8th grade students has origanized a food drive to benefit our local food pantry. The food drive ends tomorrow and the 6th grade is currently tied with the 8th grade! Please remember to bring non-perishable food items to donate by tomorrow. Boxes are located outside the cafeteria and you can drop your items off when you arrive at school.
