Next week we will have several quizzes and projects.

Monday: Northern and Western Europe map quiz (if there is no school on Monday, we will have this quiz on the next day that we are in session)

Tuesday: Menu Projects DUE! (These are due even if there is no school on Monday. If there is no school on Tuesday they will due the next day that we are in session. Students have known about these projects for over 3 weeks.)

Wednesday: Central Europe Map Quiz

Friday: Eastern Europe Map Quiz

Students have been given a list of the countries that will be included on each map quiz. We will also be discussing the European Union and Eastern Europe next week.

Monday is also spring picture day. Students may wear jeans and a t-shirt for pictures. We will have both individual pictures and club pictures on this day.

February 17 – 21

Notes: Students received their Europe Menu Packets on Monday. All projects are due on Tuesday, March 4th. No late projects will be accepted. Students should also be studying for the Europe Map Quiz. This will be in a few weeks and specific dates will be posted as they are decided upon. Students will take the quiz in 3 different parts (Western Europe, Central Europe, and Eastern Europe) and these will likely occur on a Monday-Wednesday-Friday of the same week.

February 11 – 14

The map quiz over Central America and the Caribbean has been pushed back to Wednesday, November 20! you will have a few more days to study so I expect everyone to do GREAT!

November 4 – 8

Wednesday, November 6th, 2013

We have started our new unit on Central America and the Caribbean. This will be a short unit that we should have all wrapped up by Thanksgiving. There are no menu projects for this unit, but students will be taking a map quiz. Students completed their maps on Friday (11/1) and should be studying for their quiz. The quiz will cover countries 1-13 on the map and is tentatively scheduled for Friday, November 15.
