August 31- September 4

Today begins our fourth week of school! Students seem to be adjusting well to our daily routine and most did well with the homework that was added last week. Spelling words this week are words with the short i sound. Our story for this week is The Storm. Please have your child read this story to you each night, at least once. It is typed on a piece of paper in their folder. The more your child reads, the better he/she will be at this skill!! Remember, we will have a spelling test each Friday, so please help your child study for that each week. If you have any questions/concerns, please feel free to email me, send a note, or call the school and I will be glad to talk with you.

Reminders: School pictures are tomorrow.
Grandparents’ Day is September 8th. (Our class eats lunch around 11:25.)
