Effective immediately, the Harrison County School District is suspending the practice of required temperature screenings for all students, staff, and visitors in district-operated facilities and on buses. This change in COVID-19 mitigation protocols is based on recently released guidance from the Kentucky Department of Education and Kentucky Department of Public Health. Harrison County Schools will continue to utilize all other previously implemented mitigation measures. 

School staff should continue to complete the revised, online “HC District Staff Daily Sign-In” Google assessment form through the remainder of the school year for contact tracing purposes.
 
Any student or staff member exhibiting symptoms should see their school nurse or point of contact in their building for an assessment and follow-up guidance.
