2 EASTSIDE 3RD GRADERS TAKE WRITING INITIATIVE
After reading a book that included a school newsletter, one very ambitious third grade Eastside student, Amira Baker thought to herself, “Our school needs one!” Amira then shared her idea with friend, Georgia Berry, and together they approached their teacher, Ms. Heltzel with their ideas.
Eastside Elementary Principal, Melissa Miles had this to say about her students, “ Amira and Georgia are students that have wonderful leadership abilities. Both students continuously try to find ways to improve our school. They are always excited to share a new idea and love to help. I’m so proud of them both!”
Harrison County Schools is also very proud of these two students! We look forward to watching them both succeed in their educational journey in the years to come!
