With Christmas coming, we know that winter weather closures are sure to follow. On December 6th your child SHOULD be coming home with an envelope that will include the first FIVE (5) days of potential NTI (Non-Traditional Instruction) paper packets. Here are the notable details of how NTI will work this year should we need them:
The student has the CHOICE to do a paper packet OR utilize their core teacher’s (Math, Science, Social Studies, English) Google Classroom “NTI” banner to complete that teacher’s NTI assignment for that day.
BOTH paper packets & the NTI banner located on the teacher’s Google Classroom site, will be coming home & will be available on the computer on DECEMBER 6th.
Different from years past, this year students will do an assignment from their FOUR CORE CLASSES (Math, Science, Social Studies, English) each day. The student’s “Explore” class assignment will come home starting in January. We will notify parents ahead of time when that assignment is coming home.
