Meet The Teacher: HCMS!
Mrs. Sammie Sowder will be joining the staff at HCMS this fall as a 6th grade special education teacher.
"I graduated from Midway University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I obtained my Masters in Special Education from Kentucky State University. My husband Jeffrey and I have been married for 24 years. We have been blessed with three wonderful children. Quentin is a 2017 graduate of HCHS. Sidney graduated from HCHS this year. John will be a freshman at HCHS this fall. I enjoy spending time with my family. I love watching my children in anything that they are involved in, whether it be FFA, 4-H, sports, hunting or fishing. We enjoy spending time outdoors. I am looking forward to teaching the students in my hometown."
