Meet the Staff: HCMS!
Ms. Aldridge will join the staff at Harrison County Middle School this fall as a 7th grade special education teacher.
"My name is Amanda Aldridge and I am so excited to be joining the staff of Harrison Co. Middle School as a 7th Grade Special Education Teacher. I have been teaching for 23 years. I am a 1994 Graduate of Harrison Co. High School , 1999 Graduate of Morehead State University, and a 2005 & 2008 Graduate of Georgetown College. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education K-4 and Special Education LBD/EBD PreK-12 as well as a Masters Degree and Rank One in Special Education.
I have four children: Hayden (Hayllee) Switzer, Riley (Annie) Switzer , Annie Aldridge & Gabby Aldridge and one Granddaughter, Harlynn Rose Switzer and another granddaughter on the way in December.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my significant other, family and friends. I'm an avid sports fan.
I am looking forward to working in my hometown and giving back to my community. So glad to be home. "
