Here are the key details to keep in mind:
Who Can Join: Open to 3rd–5th grade students ONLY!
Cap Capacity: Limited to the first 40 students who register.
Waitlist: The form will remain open after 40 entries. Additional registrants will be added to our waitlist, and we will contact you directly if a spot opens up.
Confirmation: The first 40 confirmed participants will receive an email confirmation for our first practice on Tuesday, September 8th.
Practice Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 4:30 PM in the Southside Gym. (Detailed pick-up instructions are provided in the sign-up form!)
Costume Fee: $25 per student.

Grandparents and Grand Friends are invited to attend our special night on Thursday, September 10th, 2026, from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. Please begin by meeting teachers in classrooms (until 6:05 PM). Afterward, please shop at our Book Fair (open late), enjoy light refreshments, try the playground, share in a family photo, and engage in hands-on fun, games, and activities. Northside Grandparents and Grand Friends Night is sponsored by Northside Parent-Teacher Organization and Harrison County Schools Title I.

Today Ms. Ward and Mrs. Hannah's class had a colorful day of learning! We started by reading The Crayons Go Back to School and talking about crayons, colors, and what it means to be a good classroom crayon user. 🖍️📖
We practiced how to use our crayons correctly, taking care of our supplies, and using the correct colors when coloring. Then we turned our favorite colors into a little math investigation! 🔢
We counted how many friends chose each favorite color, recorded our answers with tally marks, and then turned those tallies into numbers. We even talked about which colors had more, less, and equal amounts!
It was so much fun combining reading, fine motor skills, colors, counting, number writing, and early data skills all in one activity. 💙💚❤️💛
