February Reading Challenge for students. Students can earn a special trading card by logging 300 minutes in the month of February. Students can easily earn this card by logging at least 30 minutes each day in Beanstack.
Harrison County Elementary Drama Club Presents… 🎭
We are excited to announce our Spring Musical, Disney’s Cinderella (Kids)! Students from all four Harrison County elementary schools are invited to participate in this fun, collaborative production.
✨ Who can participate?
Elementary students in grades 3–5
📅 Rehearsals begin: First week of February
🕒 When: Tuesdays & Thursdays after school until 4:30 PM
📍 Where: Southside Elementary School Gym
🚌 Transportation provided: Students will ride the bus from their home school to Southside Elementary
👕 Costume fee: $25 per student
👨👩👧 Mandatory parent/guardian meeting:
A brief required meeting will take place at the end of the first rehearsal to review pick-up procedures and performance dates. A parent or guardian must attend for the student to continue participation.
⚠️ Limited to 40 students total
🗓 Sign-up deadline: Friday, January 30th
Interested families should complete the Google Form to secure a spot. Once the form reaches capacity, it will automatically close.

Winter Break Reading Challenge begins today, 12/18 and ends on 1/5/26. Students are encouraged to read 20 minutes each day and log the minutes in Beanstack. Students will earn a digital badge for every 20 minutes they log. Students to earn all the badges and complete the challenge will earn the Winter Break Reading Challenge card. Good Luck and Happy Reading.
