Do you worry about worrying? The story a few of our first graders read this week had a character, Wemberly, that worried ALL the time. This inspired the students to make their own worry stones.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 8th, there will be no school in Harrison County due to it being Election Day! Go vote!

We had a great day today! Our older students heard several “Haunted Tales” from storyteller Mary Hamilton.
Our younger students enjoyed learning about being an author/illustrator with a visit from Amanda Driscoll. They ended the day with cupcakes that looked just like Klondike’s from one of Driscoll’s books.
Thanks to our Family Resource Center for helping with funding and the HCHS Culinary Club for the beautiful cupcakes!

Important! Picture day has been rescheduled by LifeTouch from Tuesday, September 27 to now Thursday, September 29!

Congrats to Thuri Maechler-Eastside’s newest elected Site-base Decision Making Council parent representative!
