Students in our Fifth grade are using their digital design skills to create Halloween scenes to spark some story telling.


To start off Digital Citizenship Week sign up for the free Family Cyber Safety Night @bit.ly/CyberFamily22. This event is on Oct. 25 @ 6:00 pm. Your family will have fun as you learn together how to stay safe & protect your family online from the comfort of your home.

Fall fun in 1st grade 🍁

They took a field trip this morning to the Harrison County Agriculture Farm. The students picked a pumpkin to take home, visited many farm animals, read a book about the many uses of pumpkins, and had a picnic lunch. 🎃 🐄
Thank you to the Harrison County High School and Middle School FFA for hosting this event!

Then they traveled back to school to do a science experiment that they made exploding apple cider. They enjoyed a sweet treat afterwards!





Congratulations to the October Readers of the Month. These students have shown outstanding growth in the area of Reading in their homeroom.


Today, the 3rd-5th grade students got to hear "Spooky Stories" told by Mary Hamilton today.


Today, Northside Students were treated to an amazing author and illustrator visit with Amanda Driscoll. She showed how her book ideas come to her and what the writing process looks like.

In Kindergarten, the letters Q and U got married! The outdoor celebration was QUITE cute, complete with party poppers, cake, ring pops and cheese balls.


Grandparent's Night was a huge success at Northside last evening. We had Bingo, Refreshments, and Story time.

HCHS ROTC students provided enrichment at our STABLE program today. They taught students the proper way to fold the flag and had them complete an obstacle course.
