
Northside's 12 Day of Christmas Countdown continues! Today, Mr. Grinch and friends were having a go-cart race in the cafeteria.

On Monday, Northside students were recognized as the winners of "Harrison County Schools Top Attendance" during month four. On Tuesday morning, Mr. Grinch is found posing with Northside's Attendance Trophy.


Monday continues our 12 Days Of Christmas Countdown, and the first day of Grinch Mischief.
On Monday, students enjoyed 'Grinch Day', with a classroom reading of "How The Grinch Stole Christmas". Students also enjoyed the original 1966 "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" movie.

Attendance is important and can be rewarding. Today Northside Elementary found out they won the district "Attendance Challenge" for month 4.

Spread some holiday cheer! Make a Christmas card for a special person at school!


Tomorrow is "Grinch Day," We will be reading How the Grinch Stole Christmas. You can dress like a Who, Wear Green, or your favorite Grinch shirt.


These kiddos tickets were drawn this week from the caught being leader drawing during the morning meeting!

Mrs. Thomas' students are working on understanding addition. Today, they worked in the digital center to see how many chips they would have altogether.





Friday we want to "Deck the Halls" be sure to wear your best Christmas jewelry to school, light up necklaces, bracelets, earrings, garland, etc.

Kick off the holiday season with Northside. Wear your favorite snowman shirt or a blue or white shirt to school on Wednesday.


Kona Ice will be at Northside on Friday, 12/6/24. Student can begin bringing in their money to purchase a frozen treat .


It was a great day to be a mustang! Northside students had a lot of fun at our glow party! Happy Thanksgiving to our Northside Families!

Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Gaunce, and Mrs. Dailey's classes read the book Balloons Over Broadway and learned about the history and intricacies of the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade and had their own parade! It was so much fun!











Mrs. Dailey's class along with the entire 2nd grade read the book, Balloons Over Broadway about the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Students then completed a STEM activity to design their own balloon. This morning we played Christmas music and students paraded the hallways for the entire school to watch.
