FRYSC coordinators build relationships between schools, homes, and communities to support families and help students succeed. We would like to take time to thank FRYSC coordinators for all their hard work. They provide an invaluable service with the main goal of helping each student to learn to their fullest potential and to be successful into adulthood. We appreciate our Harrison County School Board Members!

Students, Staff and Families,
We received several reports this evening of snow covered and icy roads throughout the county. Much of this is as a result of wind blowing snow back across previously plowed roads that were fine earlier today. Mr. Blackburn and I just got back from checking these locations and they will require further plowing and salting before buses can travel. As a result, the Harrison County School District will be operating on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday, January 15. This means that if you are a bus rider and your normal bus pickup time is 6:45 your new pickup time tomorrow will be 8:45. If you are transported by car your drop off time will now be 9:25. As a reminder to pre-school families, there is no pre-school when operating on a two-hour delay. If you have special circumstances you may call your school at 7:30.
Thank you for your understanding and be safe.
