Lincoln was a winner in a weekly "Clever Craze "National Competition. This program has weekly competitions where students complete educational tasks to earn points. The high earning students are entered into a competition for gift cards, prizes, etc. What a great way to learn while having fun and getting a chance to win a prize like Lincoln did!

Next Week's School Lunch Menu

Wow, Northside students! I am so proud of you!
This morning on ClassDojo and Social Media, we announced our attendance winners for Month #1.
I would like to share a little more background for everyone: Harrison County School District is hosting a monthly attendance competition between all six schools. Each 'attendance month' (every 20 school days, not necessarily each calendar month, as defined by the Kentucky Department of Education), the school with the highest attendance percentage will be declared the winner.
In addition to the district competition, Northside holds weekly and monthly competitions for best classroom attendance. Northside's competitions frequently involve ice cream treats for students.
We also feel it is important to recognize individual attendance achievement. In month #1, Northside had 137 total students with perfect attendance, which is awesome! Of those 137, one student per homeroom was randomly drawn/selected for perfect attendance recognition or attendance improvement recognition.
We love to celebrate our students, and we are very proud of all who give their best effort every day.
Go, Northside, go!

Congratulations to our High Attendance Award Recipients for Month #1! Also, Mrs. Dotson's class was the overall attendance winner, with 99% attendance for the month.
Check out the amazing smiles from these 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade friends!
