Caught Being a Leader for Week 2 and we are all smiles! We are so proud of our Mustangs at Northside!
Mrs. Anderson's class read about William Hoy - a deaf baseball player who changed the game of baseball and started the use of sign language in the game for “safe,” “out” and more. These awesome kiddos took it upon themselves to go outside and play a game of kickball using sign language and sticks for signs--- and they even had some cheerleaders!! We love to see students encouraging each other!

We had such fun in 3rd Grade Music Class today! Mrs.Mattill led students using the book "Change Sings" while discussing Habit 5 of Leader in Me, "Change Begins With Me."
Students also particiapted in rhythmic choreography involving scarves, set to Carl Orff's cantata of Carmina Burana.
