First Day of Preschool

Mrs. Thomas' students practiced the letters A and M by writing them with their fingers in sand.

Mrs. Anderson's students took a "virtual field trip" to the Lego factory. They used legos to make tens and ones and add within 50.

2nd grade students learned a new math game called "What's Behind My Back?" They are learning about addends that make 10.

Both 4th grade classes (Mrs. Olin & Mrs. Fugate) came together to discuss their class economy. Together they generated a list of behaviors that will get you a fine (you owe money) or rewarded with extra money.

Mrs. Thomas' kindergarten friends are exploring different math tools. Students are learning how to use pattern blocks.

Mrs. Anderson's 2nd graders learning a new partner activity called Sage N Scribe

Northside families please be aware, this year water bottles must be clear. No metal bottles/cups are allowed. Bottles must be clear with no tint. Students may bring plain WATER ONLY in their bottles. Bottles must have a screw on lid with a seal top.

Open House was amazing tonight at Northside. Thank you to our PTO and our community partners for bringing out some BIG trucks for our students to enjoy. The Road to Success is Always Under Construction!

Even when we are not in school, our Northside students are showing off their skills in the community. Our very own Ryleigh Pike won the Brett Persinger character and sportsmanship award this weekend at the Brett Persinger Memorial Tournament.

Mrs. Thomas had her students working with play dough and riding a bus at Kindergarten camp.
