We are collecting new, unused items to help stock the HCMS Family Resource and Youth Services Center.
✨ Grade Level Competition! ✨ To make things a little more fun, we are turning this into a friendly competition! The grade level (6th, 7th, or 8th) that donates the most total items by April 3rd will win a sweatpants day! 👖🎉

Huge round of applause for our students who knocked it out of the park during the 3rd nine weeks! ⚾️ To make the Triple Crown Club, these students had to hit the ultimate trifecta of excellence:
✅ Character: Zero discipline referrals.
✅ Academics: No D’s or F’s on their report cards.
✅ Consistency: Zero unexcused absences.
These amazing students were invited to a special celebration where they enjoyed some well-deserved free time in the gym!

🎶 STRIKE UP THE BAND! 🎶
We are bursting with pride today! Our incredible 7th and 8th-grade band traveled to the KMEA District 7 band assessment and officially brought home a DISTINGUISHED rating! 🏆
This is the highest honor a band can receive, and it is a direct result of the countless hours these students have practiced. They represented HCMS with absolute excellence.
Huge congratulations are in order for our incredible Archery Team! Our archers took aim at the State Championship and absolutely crushed it.

What a day! We just wrapped up our third nine weeks reward day, and the energy in the gym was absolutely electric. ⚡️
Between some high-stakes, intense rounds of musical chairs and an epic dodgeball tournament, our students definitely earned their break!

Cafeteria Culture: Keeping their area clean and modeling great behavior.
Character: Maintaining the lowest number of discipline referrals.
Literacy: Reading the most books of any team this nine weeks! 📚
